Fierce | Naperville Boudoir Photographer, Chicago Boudoir Photographer

I was wanting to try some studio boudoir (as opposed to being on a bed), and this gorgeous lady here was perfect for it.  We even went shopping together to pick out her outfit at Flirty Kitty.  She was a great sport in allowing me to try new lighting on her, and I mean, look at her, it was hard not to get amazing pictures of her.  If you are you going to have a boudoir session done, I hope you see how different they can be.  Think about what you want to project – intense, flirty, sultry, cute, or just beautiful.  Each mood has it’s own requirement as a photographer.

Usually when people hear nude photography, they immediately think of Playboy or something X-rated, but as you can see here, when done right, showcasing the female body is like being a sculptor.  My job is being an artist and using light to create pieces of art.  And using satin sheets make wardrobe really easy… LOL

The lighting, while different from my standard boudoir sessions, isn’t any different from what I do with newborn sessions through my Firefly Nights Photography.  Lighting is lighting, and can create amazing results.

Thank you, K, for an awesome session!

Oh my goodness! I love the shots where she’s facing away from you, there’s something really sexy about that, but my absolute favorite is the third one. What a seriously confident and sexy pose, not-overly provocative. I love it.ReplyCancel
